LSG Hydro Power Limited is a newly registered unlisted public company in Pakistan, having been incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) on March 26, 2021. Its registered office is situated in Emirates Tower, Jinnah Super, F-7 Markaz, Islamabad.
As a subsidiary of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co. Ltd. (KHNP), LSG Hydro Power Limited is an independent Power Producer (IPP) that has been established for the specific purpose of developing the Lower Spat Gah HydroPower Project.
LSG Hydro Power Limited aims to harness the power of water to generate clean, renewable energy for the people of Pakistan. By leveraging the technical expertise and resources of its parent company, KHNP, LSG Hydro Power Limited is committed to developing a sustainable energy infrastructure that will contribute to the country’s economic growth and social well-being.
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP), is responsible for operating and managing 21 nuclear power plants and 27 hydro-electric power plants in Korea. With a global ranking of 3rd in Nuclear Power Plant capacity, KHNP offers a range of services including feasibility studies, technical assistance, and overseas operation of Korean NPPs. With a workforce of approximately 13,000 employees.
KHNP is responsible for nearly 25% of Korea’s generation facilities and supplies over 30% of the country’s total power.
