LSG Hydro Power Ltd (the Company) submitted the ESIA Report to EPA for initial vetting dated 4^th March 2022. As suggested by EPA department, LSG HPL submitted the ESIA Report to Chief Conservator of Forest Central Southern Region dated 4^th July 2022. LSG Team successfully conducted Public Hearing on 26^th July 2022, in Kohistan.
The Forest department instructed LSG to conduct site visits, there were a total of 5 site visits to clarify the queries made by the Forest Department. The site was conducted with KP-EPA and Forest department from 28 to 30 September 2022, (1^st Site Visit).  LSG and Forest department visited the Site from 04 ~ 06 January 2023 (2^nd Site Visit). LSG and Forest department re-visited the site on 24 February 2023 (3^rd Site Visit). LSG Team visited the site from 15 to 25 May 2023 (4^th Site Visit). LSG Team and Forest department visited the site along with DFO upper Kohistan on 14 July 2023 (5^th Site Visit). Forest Department KPK issued Forest NOC on 24 July 2023 for EPA approval of ESIA report of LSG Hydropower Project.

The Company submitted Clarification/Justification to EPA’s observation along with Forest NOC dated 2^nd August 2023. After careful review, the KP-EPA approved the ESIA report of Lower Spat Gah Hydropower Project dated 1^st September 2023.
